Helena started in Sciences but transferred to Humanities in her second year to pursue her career goals. Having graduated with a B.A. in Humanities, specializing in Socio Informatics, Psychology, and Sociology, she offers a holistic understanding of human behavior. Her postgraduate studies in Knowledge and Information Systems Management further equip her to optimize organizational knowledge flows.

During her time in the Dept. of Information Science at Stellenbosch University, Helena traveled abroad to further her knowledge of managing teams and leading innovative projects by studying at the Computer Sciences faculty of the Higher School of Economics in Moscow Russia for a semester. During her time there she completed modules in Agile Methodology and Project Management, Neuroeconomics, Team Management, and Innovation Management.

While she is currently pursuing an MPhil in Information and Knowledge Management, she is also a member of Knowledge Management South Africa thus demonstrating her commitment to staying ahead in this evolving field.

Helena’s multi-faceted background draws from design experience, technical understanding, as well as her years of experience in management and business consulting. She has worked in both corporate organizations, as well as numerous startups and scale-ups. By combining her academic knowledge with practical experience, Helena is able to drive operational excellence.
